Toyota GT86 Gets Rally Car Makeover

Ridiculous rear wing, tick, beefy body work, tick, Toyota GT86 turned into rally car, yes please. And its a big yes for this Toyota GT86 as it gets a rally course reboot. The great news is that “Joe” public can get behind the wheel of this works prepared GT86 rally car, that means a close ratio gearbox and finally the kick in the rear the GT86 always needed, more power, 198bhp to be precise. A 15 min session which lasts 60 minute’s, including initial instruction, costs as little as £99 GBP for a 15 min session. If you want a longer session then expect to fork out £165 for a 1.5hr rally car jaunt. But you have to live in the UK, of course, and its being organised by msvdrivinggifts.com as part of their RallyMaster driving experience day from either Brands Hatch or Oulton Park race circuits. Porceedings are scheduled to commence from 1st February 2015. MSV Chief Executive Jonathan Palmer said, “The arrival of the Toyota GT86 begins a new era for RallyMaster, which previously put enthusiast drivers in front-wheel-drive cars. With its rear-wheel-drive and low centre of gravity, the Toyota GT86 was designed to give driving enthusiasts great balance and handling, making it perfect for an enjoyable introduction to rally driving.” Toyota Motorsport has already tested a GT86 CS-R3 prototype rally car, the modified GT86 has been tuned to deliver 250bhp and has a sequential six-speed transmission, limited slip diff for to guarantee humongous slides, a tarmac & Gravel suspension kit and a lightweight roll cage. GT86-CS-R3 Apparently Toyota will make available all these enriched mechanical’s in kit form early next year, although nothing has been finalised just yet.
