Ford Ruins The All New 2016 GT40
Auto News
The 2016 Ford GT40 has been revealed and we should be celebrating but we can’t because we just don’t like it. The last generation GT40 was a looker as was the MkI but it seems Ford is intent on creating a Enzo-esq style racer. This is what we know, the GT40 will be fabricated mainly out of carbon fiber and will be powered by a mid-engine, V6 Ecoboost, twin-turbo producing 600bhp. Carrying the expectations of the engine will be a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The 2016 Ford GT40 will use formula one derived Active Torsion Bar suspension and we don’t like the look of it, maybe it might grow on us. Sure you have to improve on what went before maybe its just us, perhaps we are wrong but…sigh….even deeper sigh. Ford unveiled the all new GT40 at the 2015 North American Auto Show, price and availability will be announced later on, some time in the not too distant future. http://youtu.be/7Z56deqZ0lU  Ford-GT40-2016
