If you haven’t heard of the Baja 1000 then think of it as one of the most brutal off-road desert races in the world.
The Baja 1000 is held every year in third week of November and takes place on Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula.
Various types of vehicles are allowed to enter such as motorbcycles, trucks, buggies and customised off-roaders. It is a Americas version of the Paris Dakar Rally.
The course has remained relatively the same since the event was founded in 1962, about every other being either a point-to-point race from Ensenada to La Paz, or a loop race starting and finishing in Ensenada.
Its brutal. unforgiving and has what we like, plenty of side ways action. HARRRIISSSS!
