Hyundai will be revealing the successor to the ix35 at the Geneva Motorshow on March 3rd. The ix35 SUV will also revert to its global name and from Geneva onward will be known as the Tuscon. The Tuscon will not be lost on style judging by the concept, lets hope it brings a bit of kick-ass design into Hyundai’s, lets be honest, staid looking ix35. Even the name sounds boring. Former Audi designer, Peter Schreyer, is behind the concept said; ‘Our new compact SUV will be a big step forward for the Hyundai brand globally. The All-New Tucson has a bold and athletic presence and a proud stance. ‘Its design is characterised by flowing surfaces, bold proportions, sharp lines and – most important – our brand signature hexagonal grille.’ The ix35 generates a lot of cash for Hyundai in the UK, its the company’s third best selling car.
