Thoroughly British pip-pip-hurrah Morgan Motors has revealed a very British colonial free special edition. Only nine Plus 8 GTRs will be made. The example shown is finished in Yas Marina Blue, the remaining eight cars are all in production, and scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2022.

Each Plus 8 GTR customer have worked closely with Morgan’s design team to commission their own bespoke example. Performance upgrades include a new engine tune and cannon-style twin-exit sports exhausts.

These enhancements are said to improve throttle response and increase the power output over the previous production Plus 8. Powering this hip-hip-hurrah sports car is a British, not German, 375bhp 4.8-litre V8. (BMW cough, cough)

Customers have the option of a six-speed manual or six-speed auto transmission. The Plus 8 has upgraded the suspension, tyres, and brakes tope with the thoroughly Britishness.

There’s no other way to put this, but the Morgan Plus 8 GTR costs £250,000. OUTRAGEOUS!
