When Aston Martin unveiled the DB10 for the new James Bond Spectre movie we were elated until we realised it was a one off model specially commissioned for the forthcoming film starring Daniel Craig
Eight models were built for filming duties mainly for stunt scenes and vanity shots. It may well be that one or two are actually crashed for the movie which inevitably happens in a James Bond film.
It isn’t clear how much each DB10 cost and who actually paid for the vehicles to be made, usually the manufacture will pay the film studio millions for the product placement value such a big budget franchise can generate.
And thank god Bond is using British made cars… that are in the hands of foreign ownership, “God save our gracious queen God save our gracious Queen!
