The marketing division at BMW are most probably banging their heads on their corporate tables right now after someone, whom we presume to be hacked off with the company, leaked what seems to be the all new 2016 BMW 7 Series.
The offical launch is just a few days away and the web is alive with these images. The Mystery leaker was in fact ‘home brewed’. BMW Austria were the unwitting architects of the leak after the car appeared on the online car configurator.
The new 7 Series will go on sale around October time and the accidental release of information also gave away a number of key details. We now know the price in Europe will start from €100,000 for the straight-six diesel 730d. The straight-six 740i will cost €107,000.
BMW will also offer the twin-turbo V8 which will develop 445bhp in the 750i model variant. Options will include adaptive LED headlights, the M-Sport package and we’re sure BMW will entice 7 Series customers with the latest tech money can buy but you don’t really need.
Meanwhile a BMW Marketing Manager was found floating face down in the River Rhine, it is believed he was un-intentionally responsible for the the leak and decided he could take no more. Foul play has been ruled out.
