Rear-wheel-drive car check. Go-Pro at the ready… check. All systems go for a tail happy day at Germany’s Hockenheimring, which has played host to F1 back in the day.
Now the “Ring” is open to the general public who can spend a day driving the circuit, soaking up the atmosphere in their £500 modified track day cars. All at their own expense.
A few drifters are present on the circuit, a few others push too hard and the rest just try damned hard one or two a bit too hard. If you think track day experiences in your pride and joy is a waste and a potential money pit you could do worse… like join Daesh, now that would be a waste to humanity.
