The upshot of this Jaguar promotional video, which pits Jaguar’s Le Mans-winning XJ-R9 LM against the 550PS, 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 Jaguar XJR, is that LED lighting technology is superior to any other lighting technology.
The passage of time always sees advancements so its unrealistic to say we should still be using conventional lighting technology in 2015 when the XJ-R9- LM was wining endurance races back in the day.
Jaguar are getting with the times these days but we still think the current styling of the XJR should have been saloon based and not a weird looking salon-come-coupe. LED lights Jaguar? We prefer better styling.
