OK so you have spent hours in the factory scratching your head, eating your sandwich and sipping coffee with a confectionery of choice. At the end of months and months of development you have created the most powerful Lotus ever.
Its called the Evora 400 and it reads 42 kg weight reduction with an increase of 55 hp over the previous model. The mid-mounted, supercharged, 3.5-litre V6 produces 400hp and 410Nm in car weighing 1,395kg. Predictably its fast, 0-60 in 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 186mph.
The Lotus Evora comes fully loaded with kit an infotainment system, climate control etc but we like the new limited-slip differential which means you can pull-off some fancy side ways moments should you ever decide to pit your limited talents against Lotus’s finest ever machine.
The Evora will cost you £72k GBP, that’s expensive and some people will say you can get a Porsche for less money. We say go for the Lotus.
