Rides Like It’s Riding on Rails
Video
British motoring journalists, whom we regularly criticised for being over opinionated, self indulgent scribers, selfish, toxic, repetitive, motor industry high-fivers always almost always say one thing. “It feels like its riding on rails”. That means the car’s handling is really good. But no car can actually ever replicate the feeling of “riding on rails” I mean after all you have a vehicle which has a concentration of mass. And if you truly believe you really are a brilliant driver then you really do believe you can shift all this mass like a ballet dancer. But this is what riding on rails really feels like, YouTuber, CoasterForce has filmed over 2,000 roller coaster rides. The Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster is located near Pigeon Forge in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Of interest is that this POV video has been shot at 60 frames per second. Packing more frames into the video gets you closer to the action and it actually makes things more nauseous. It would probably feel less nacious if you went on the ride for real. The video shows the next evolution of video uploading is not just resolution but frame rates per second. What has this got to do with cars you ask. Errrmmm. It rides like it is riding on rails.  Gatlinburg-Mountain-Coaster
