Will The Aston Martin DB11 Have A Folding Metal Roof?
Auto News
This is the Aston Martin DB11. Correction this is the unofficial rendering of the Aston Martin DB11 by Netherlands based Photoshop-guy Remco. Based on a series of leaked images purportedly showing the final version of the DB11, Remco has given us the clearest look of the styling. We know the DB11 will have a Mercedes sourced Twin-Turbo V12 and we know it will be a powerful, fast expensive and luxurious supercar grand tourer. We just hope it doesn’t look like this, were not getting the two-tone detailing, that’s not Aston Martin. And we don’t like the overall look. You see the DB9 is an ageless classic, indeed its one of those cars that hasn’t aged since it was first released in 2004. Maybe Aston should take styling cues from Porsche. Slow, slow evolution. Do you know what it reminds us of? A Mercedes SL, could this mean that Aston Martin are going for a tin-top-drop-top for the DB11. A first for the luxury sports car brand. It would make sense, perhaps Aston have leaned on Mercedes for the use of the SL’s mechanical roof structure and mechanism. It’s the rear pillar and width of the rear body work that suggests to us we’re looking at a DB11 with a folding metal roof. Or we could be wrong. In any case we managed to fill column space if anything else.  Remco-Aston-Martin-DB11-Rendered
