Novitec Pump Up The Style With Mean Looking Ferrari F12
Auto News
If you know your aftermarket automotive tuners then you will know of Novitec. Novitech, for those in the know, tinker, tune and make stock manufacture cars look more insane. Indeed Novitec take insanity to higher levels without going over the top. That’s because Novitec are British based and the Brits can do insanity tastefully well. But there is a sting in the tail to this post, when Novitec decided to ‘aftermarket’ the Ferrari F12 they tapped the shoulders of German designer Vittorio Strosek, who is half Italian. So in effect you have three nationalities working as one and the result is sublime and evil looking all at once. Novitech-Ferrari-F12-Widebody-Rear Noitec have in effect created a ‘wide-body’ kit, the lightweight carbon kit includes new front and rear bumper designs, front wings and the rear is widened by 14cm with moulds added to the base production model. Novitec have incorporated aerodynamic blades to the front bumper which is designed to stablise the air flowing over the front axel, this is said to improve front end grip and handling. Novitech-Ferrari-F12-Widebody-BEye But the F12 is really about that 6.3-litre V12 engine and yes Novitech has managed to tune extra horse powers bringing the total up from 730bhp too 781bhp and the torque from 690Nm too 722Nm. Performance is blisteringly fast, the 0-62mph time takes 3.0 seconds and the top speed is rated at 217mph. Novitech-Ferrari-F12-Widebody-Front While the interior hasn’t been significantly altered Novitec do offer customisation options pertaining to leather and Alcantara materials and colours. We don’t know how much this F12 widebody kit will cost but expect to pay at least an extra £30-40k. Anyway YouTuber Shmee150 was given an exclusive first look because it pays to be British, watch the video below.
