It used to be the case that Redneck America put the fear into people and that includes them white northern folks… y’all. And if you were from a non-white background and you happened to accidentally stray into Redneck America, circa April 12 1861, you probably wouldn’t have made it out alive.  Redneck America is a region most commonly associated with the Souther States, or Dixie Land as it was often refereed to in many historical songs of the time. Dixie Land comprises of backwards people with blackened and sometimes yellowing bucked-teeth people with low IQ’s. Some say that’s still the case in the 21st Century. Of course we are stereotyping the peoples of Dixie Land, after all this is a region whose leaders wanted to separate from the US of A for the sake of maintaining their very profitable slave trade. or as it should be called human trafficking and exploitation. That’s Anglo-Saxon civilisation for y’all’. But slavery in the heart of Dixie Land was once upon a time, the American Civil war effectively put an end to that. But the lynch mobs took a little longer to get rid of.
