This Is The Kia Soul Urban Special Edition
Auto News

If you are considering buying a Dacia Duster trust us don’t, Dacia is Renault’s legacy to the best crap they can afford on a budget. its isn’t Dacia’s fault that Renault lets loose it’s accountants onto the brand. The net result is utter dreary crap. So why don’t you consider the new Kia Soul ‘Urban’, a special edition model for not much more money than a stupid Dacia Duster and a much better and refined proposition all round.

Like all special editions the Soul Urban offer’s more equipment levels and the marketing people will also add things like ‘attractive styling and excellent value‘.

The new Soul ‘Urban’ is offered with one trim level and three engine and gearbox options.

Prospective punters will be offered a 6-speed manual gearbox mated with the 1.6 GDi petrol and or 1.6 CRDi diesel engine.

An automatic version of the diesel version is also available when twinned with Kia’s new 7-speed auto DCT gearbox.

The exterior styling of the ‘Urban’ features a ‘SUV pack’ alongside black high gloss bumpers and rear and side sills which are teamed with chrome inserts.

You also get electric folding door mirrors with integrated LED indicators, LED rear combination and high level brake lights alongside front daytime running lights and privacy glass.

In addition Kia have thrown in rear parking sensors as standard… How generous of them.

The Soul ‘Urban’ is available in a choice of one solid and three metallic paint exterior colours. Clear White (solid), Caribbean Blue, Inferno Red and Quartz Black.

All models ride on the 17” alloy wheels.

On the inside the Soul ‘Urban’ features black woven seats with yellow trim with more use of soft touch materials and black high gloss trim.

Also included is an AM/FM radio with DAB radio, Bluetooth, USB port and auxiliary socket.

Soul ‘Urban’ customers will receive a 7 year, 100,000 mile warranty, running costs are low with CO2 levels starting at 128 g/km and an insurance group of only 9.

So the moral of this story is don’t buy a Dacia Duster, they rust quicker than they depreciate and the Duster is the crappiest vehicle Renault force upon the consumer.

Don’t listen to the positive reviews either most car reviewers are so far integrated into the corporate marketing strategy that the days of independent reviews are over.

Buy a Kia…NOW.
