This is the terrifying moment a Mazda MX-5 driver got caught up in the recent Baton Rouge floods which were caused by unseasonably heavy downpours.
A group of flood water rescuers spotted the sinking Mazda and rushed over in their boat to help.
The rescuers managed to extract the driver and her beloved dog just when it looked like it was game over for both.
The southern state of Louisiana which faces the Gulf of Mexico has been worst hit by the floods which has caused three deaths so far.
