Lamborghini Aventador Looks To Shoot To Kill The Honda NSX
Video
This drag race between the Honda NSX and the Lamborghini Aventador Pirelli Edition looks over before either have raced against the other in anger. On paper the V12, 700bhp Aventador looks to have the fire power to shoot down the 3.5-litre V6 Honda NSX right? Wrong, the NSX also incorporates a hybrid powertrain meaning an additional three electric motors give the NSX a total output of 573bhp. Still not enough to beat the Aventador on paper but the electric toque of the NSX is instantly available and this gives the Honda the edge in this drag race. What does this mean? The Aventador is inefficient and the internal combustion engine is coming to an end. Possible not any time soon. One day the cars of the future will either have an advance d hybrid powertrain or be pure electric. The only issue limiting electric powered cars from total dominance is that energy for energy petrol/diesel cars are still way more efficient than a battery powered car. Petrol/diesel cars pollute way more but so do EV’s because they draw their energy from the electric grid which uses fossil fuels anyway. So what the world needs is Nuclear Fusion, not Fission, and we’ll all be able to save the planet without feeling the guilt.  aventador-vs-honda-nsx
