It Costs How Much To Run A Used Aston Martin V8 Vantage?
Video
Doug DeMuro, Editior for Autotrader/Oversteer who finds the time and cash to buy used exotic supercars, from time to time. He purchased a used Aston Martin V8 Vantage, ran it for a year and then totted up the cost before he sold it on. DeMuro used to work for Porsche USA’s HQ where he became the youngest manager in the company’s history. He got bored and head for the internet where he now resides. DeMuro goes onto share the costs involved in running a pre-owned supercar and during his 1 year ownership DeMuro reckons he spent a total of $10,000 USD. That’s $10,000 UDS just to maintain the V8 Vantage and keep it on the road. He likes warranty covers and forked out $3,000 dollars for one. You might think DeMuro is a bit of dumb ass, but he isn’t because he is not a trained Journalist, DeMuro is economics graduate. Which makes him technically dangerous. What we can’t understand is why an economics graduate would actually consider that warranty cover is actually worth it. It was for DeMuro as he points out in the video.
