Audi will be releasing the next generation A8 saloon very soon, in short it will have an all new look, feature a raft of new petrol / diesel and a 48volt mild hybrid powerplant. No Audi is complete without the usual fine styling details that Audi is known for. But it’s the next generation of autonomous digital technology that Audi is touting in this ad-spot.
Here we see the A8 being teased in a commercial parking by itself, of course the sequence has to be initiated by the driver.
The all new A8 will be revealed on July 11th, autonomous technology will eventually filter down to all road cars it’s always the case that luxury cars get the technology first because new technology comes at a premium.
So why is autonomous technology creeping into the options list? Because it is a market that will be worth billions to auto manufacturers.
