Fans of Breaking bad might have a certain fondness for this vehicle seeing as it is driven by none other than Walter White himself, but everyone else surely agrees that this is a bad car. It looks like the lovechild or a mediocre SUV and a Pontiac Grand Prix. It’s the kind of car an over the hill, middle of the road guy would drive to try and appear down with the kids, but it wouldn’t work.
The 2002 Lexus SC 430
Lexus has launched some fantastic cars, including the Lexus CT 200H and the Lexus IS 300 over the years, but it made a huge mistake when it launched the SC 430 in 2002. Although this car looked pretty much as good as any Lexus and although it was manufactured to a high standard, the SC 430, which went on sale for over $61,000, and which was marketed as a powerful sports vehicle, only delivered 300 BPH, which was disappointing, to say the least. I guess what makes this car one of the most disappointing of all time is the fact it failed to meet expectations, rather than the fact it was a truly terrible car.
The Citroen Pluriel
The Citroen Pluriel is a really odd looking car. It’s the kind of car you’d expect Homer Simpson to come up with. Not only that, but it has to be one of the least practical vehicles of all time, due to the fact that the roof needs to be disassembled manually- something which in this case is particularly difficult on this model and which even the best car mechanic would struggle with. Putting it back together is even worse and caused many an owner to give up in frustration.
The 1989 Eagle Premier
The 1989 Earle Premier doesn’t look particularly bad, and you’d be able to drive around in it without too many issues, but as a car lover, what makes it truly one of the worst cars of all time is the fact that it is just so bland. The body is generic, the interior is nothing to write home about, and it isn’t exactly a fast vehicle. All of that might be fine, except the Eagle was launched onto the market as a luxury car – there really is nothing luxurious about it at all in my opinion!
The BMW X6
When ex-Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson dubs a vehicle ‘The Stupidest Car in the World’ you know that there has to be something wrong with it. The BMW X6’s main problem is that it’s just so pointless. The sports activity vehicle, as it was dubbed performs poorly off-road and isn’t all that impressive day to day either, failing to fulfill its whole purpose for being. What were BMW thinking?
