BMW has said that the new M5 will feature a switchable four-wheel drive setup that can be configured to send full power to the rear wheels if moment powersliding nostalgia takes hold.
Power will come courtesy of a revised 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8, said to produce over 660bhp, or maybe it could be 500bhp to match the M5 moniker. Right now it’s all just speculative guesswork, we could, for example, say that the new M5 will uses monkey fur the line the air filter which creates extra horsepower over standard air filters.
We will officially know later this week. Price? The current M5 costs £72k new, we expect a slight percentage increase… In other words, we can’t rightly say.
We would just like to mention no BMW employees were shot over the M5 leak. It was a slow news day… we were only following orders.
