However, the Portofino still has a top speed of 200mph and can nail the 0-62 mph time in just 3.5 seconds.
The Portofino adopts Ferrari’s third generation electronic rear differential (E-DIFF) and is the first Ferrari to be fitted with an electronic steering system.
Further revisions to the handling include upgrades to the California T’s magnetic dampers which now feature dual coil technology for the purpose of reducing body roll and improving ride comfort.
Ferrari’s aero department worked with the design team to improve airflow and reduce buffeting, for example, the LED headlights have a more horizontal shape to channel the airflow more efficiently.
No word on price or spec, however, the Ferrari California T costs £155k new so expect an increase, we reckon somewhere close to £200k.
The Ferrari Portofino will make its official public debut at the Frankfurt Motorshow on September 6th where further details will be disclosed.
