Owning a McLaren supercar is rare indeed unless you are a multi-millionaire or unless you are using finance to fund a fantasy lifestyle built upon mountains of real debt. However you are paying for your McLaren supercar, the millionaire, billionaire and the indebted have another excuse to form a line for limited edition V8 twin-turbo 570GT Sports Series. We’re not fans of limited edition models because they are nothing more than a lick’o’paint and details. However McLaren’s internal ‘pimp my ride’ division otherwise known as MSO (McLaren Special Operations) has pimped just six 570GTs for the full limited edition treatment. The 570GT MSO is limited in numbers and limited to an XP Green paint job with saddle tan pinstripe accents. XP Green is the same colour used for the 1997 McLaren F1 XP GT Longtail. The interior continues this colour theme and is finished in saddle tan leather with green leather accents and stitching. Optional extras include GT Upgrade Pack, Bowers & Wilkins sound system and McLaren Designer Interior, otherwise known as expensive, expensiver and more expensive. So how much does all this special edition treatment cost? £188,567 GBP, that’s £21k more expensive than the stock 570SGT. It seems like the multi-millionaire, billionaire and the heavily indebted have been busy, all six special/limited edition 570S MSOs have been snapped already.
