Do you know what Fisker did the other week? They unveiled further details of the all-electric Fisker Rōnin Super GT convertible. The vehicle took centre stage during the company’s inaugural Product Vision Day where it showcased its potential to the world. Fisker opened reservations for Rōnin on August 3; early customers can place a deposit of $2,000 for the first reservation and a fully refundable $1,000 for the second. The vehicle will be priced at $385,000, with deliveries targeted to start in the second half of 2025. Fisker will produce just 999 vehicles.

The Fisker Rōnin Super GT Convertible will boast a distinctive aluminium space frame incorporating integrated battery cells to achieve a “targeted range” of 600 miles. This focus on lightweight materials extends to the carbon-fibre 23-inch wheels. Inside, the interior will focus on minimalist luxury by incorporating recycled and eco-friendly materials.

Complimenting the interior will be a suite of technologies including a 17.1-inch high-resolution screen and a driver-centric instrument cluster and ambient lighting effects. Fisker’s vision is to realy a fusion of cutting-edge technology and driving experience.

Fisker’s objective with Rōnin is to bring utility to the high end of the market, where numerous big-name performance manufacturers have introduced SUVs. The Rōnin is designed to accommodate five people while taking advantage of an electric vehicle’s layout to provide exceptional cargo capacity.

Technical details are not yet available, however, Fisker is benchmarking a projected 0-60mph time of approximately two seconds and a 170mph (275km/h) top speed. The focus will be on driver enjoyment rather than autonomous technologies, although they will be available as needed.
