A closed road in Nevada…check. A $2m Koenigsegg Agera RS… check. Lunatic driver willing to hit max speed… check and double check. This is a publicity stunt of sorts but also a chance for Koenigsegg to actually prove the benchmarks tests true.
So away from the data sets and simulations Koenigsegg actually proves the Agera RS can max out at 284.3mph.
But this test also proves another thing about owning a supercar, you can never exploit the cars full potential on a public road nor even a test track.
So that begs the question, what is the point of a $2m 284mph supercar?
