This Is The New Toyota Radical RAV4, Is It Too Over Styled?
Auto News
RAV4 does sound like the name of a TV comedy about an Indian call center written by David Brent, but that’s the name Toyota marketing people chose and it’s here to stay. Jokes aside the RAV4 sells in big numbers for Toyota, it really is like the processed fast food, finger licking guuud, chicken nugget equivalent of cars. In Europe, Toyota sold 71k RAV4’s in 2017, which is a very tidy sum. However the USA really likes the RAV4, indeed it was the best selling non-pickup for 2017 finding just over 407k new owners. So the 5th-generation RAV has to be good, and here it is, due to hit US Showrooms in Q4 of this year the RAV4 has undergone a radical, if overstyled, bold, brash, in your face, look-at-me makeover. Toyota-Radical-Rav4-2019-Interior-Dailycarblog The 2019 RAV4 is based on Toyota’s new Global Architecture platform, however, the despite having increased interior passenger and driver space, the RAV4 isn’t significantly bigger on the outside. US folks will be able to choose from three trim models and the RAV4 will be offered with a choice of two gasoline (petrol) engines, the 2.0-litre gasoline, and 2.5-litre hybrid. Toyota-Radical-Rav4-2019-Rear-View-Dailycarblog Pricing has yet to be confirmed, however, US customers can expect an increase of, we don’t know how much, at a rough guess an increase of between $500 – $1500. But is the all-new radical looking RAV4 overstyled compared to its predecessor? The answer is yes and no. But it does look better in every way. It looks like a Hollywood actor who has had one too many facelifts and rhinoplasty but everybody around him pretends otherwise by exclaiming they still look so youthful.  Toyota-Radical-Rav4-2019-Dailycarblog
