In the automotive world, there are brands that generate passion among those who follow them. When this occurs it is akin to a rare phenomenon felt across the globe. However, only Ferrari can generate this ‘force’ for no other automotive brand breaches the passion shown among Ferrari fans. In all countries, there are countless clubs and associations that bring together those who are proud owners of a powerful rear-wheel or four-wheel drive machine. And in turn, globalization has allowed this union to even cross borders.
The most recognized and exclusive car brands in the world were born in Europe, their fame and prestige have spread all over this delicate Earth. Latin America is not the exception, and the best example is the Passione Unica Patagonia Rally organized by the members of Ferrari Club Chile.

Ferrari Club Chile comprises of a group of owners, the “Cavallino Rampante” (prancing horse) is ingrained on their soul. With this passion, they decided to challenge their day-to-day comfort levels and limits and undertake a rigorous journey of a lifetime. The journey swept Ferrari Club Chile members through epic mountain vistas, difficult terrain and often inhospitable territories of South America’s greatest wilderness.

The 2018 expedition was marked by a train of Ferraris speeding across the frozen Patagonian lands of Chile and Argentina. Up to Patagonia, the 30 Ferrari pilots covered more than 2,500 kilometers of the route for the fourth edition of the annual Passione Unica Ferrari Patagonia Rally. The tour included several towns and places in southern Chile and Argentina and closed with a charity event to support a child rehabilitation centre.

The largest Ferrari vehicle encounter on the continent was attended by passionate Ferrari owners and enthusiasts from Chile, Argentina, Peru and Spain.

Although the number of participants for the 2019 expedition is not yet defined, it is expected that new pilots, sponsors, collaborators and staff will be added to make the 2019 Rally even bigger so that year after year it continues adding kilometers and destinations.

One such destination being planned for the 2019 Rally will be a journey to the Iguazu Falls. The falls are world famous for their 275 waterfalls, including the highest one called the “Garganta del Diablo”. It is considered one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Ferrari Club Chile President, led by businessman Roberto Busel, has personally chosen this as his new favored route.

Iguazú will not be the only spectacular waypoint on the epic journey planned for 2019. Ferrari Club Chile revealed that Paraguay will also be in their line of travel. The club will detail each destination they will journey through for the 2019 rally in due course.
