Brabus Just Found A Way To Raid Banks Legally With The Brabus 850 G Class
Auto News

This monster is a Mercedes G Class re-engineered by Brabus. Its called the 850 6.0 Biturbo 4×4² Final Edition “1 of 5”. A rather long name for a vehicle that costs $550,000. Brabus refers to its latest creation as a “heavy duty off-roader” and with a price stamp to match.

The basis of the Brabus 850 G Class is the previous generation Mercedes G63. For Brabus the G63’s 5.5-litre V8 twin turbo wasn’t powerful enough.

They replaced the perfectly powerful Merc V8 with a more psychosomatic 6.0-Litre V8 tuned to deliver 838bhp and 1,450 Nm of toruqe.

Brabus reckons the 850 etc can reach a top speed of 130mph, the 0-62mph time takes just 4.7 seconds. But this Brabus G Class is also good for off-roading.

Brabus engineered bespoke portal axles than enabled the ride height to be increased by some margin. The front and rear axles feature a axel articulation solution.

A specially calibrated damping system does the rest. The Brabus 850 G Class sits on 22-inch tyres.

The interior is fully bespoke and richly trimmed to a high standard. As you would expect with a vehicle costing this much.

Throw in exterior modifications to give the Brabus 850 more street cred and you have a vehicle with that asking price of $550k.

Totally insane.
