If you don’t know what a Gran Turismo is… then shame on you. But you most probably know what a Lamborghini is. Let us assume you are knowledgeable enough to know what a Gran Turismo is… It’s the PS4 driving simulator/video game. The creators of the game invite automotive companies to create a super-hyper car concept with no real-world limits. This concept is then made available as a digital download for gamers to race. And in true Lamborghini fashion, the Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo Concept is the answer.

The concept was launched over the weekend and will become available as a download around March 2020. Lamborghini presented a full-scale physical display model at the GT Championships World Finals. The striking concept features advanced aerodynamics with a cool looking “falcon wing” rear spoiler.

The strictly centrally positioned single-seater is powered by a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 and mild hybrid system. Total system power is 808bhp (819PS) with a 0-62mph time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 217mph. In theory.

If you think it’s a working concept then think again, it is strictly for display purposes. And brand marketing. If you think the Lambo V12 is a preview into a future Lamborghini then… it might be… then it might not be. Cost? priceless hours of playing Gran Turismo.
