In relative terms, any car with 92k miles on the clock is a lot of mileage, but it isn’t for YouTuber Endfloat. In this video upload, Endfloat divulges the sheer disappointment of owning a 2017 Mercedes E Class C350e, which belongs to his father. From personal experience, and being a former owner of Mercedes cars, particularly a 2008 E Class estate and 2011 S Class I can tell you the biggest issue I faced during my years of ownership is rear air-suspension failure. After a certain amount of mileage the air suspension bellows crack and leak air.
This causes the rear suspension to collapse to the lowest settings. And Mercedes has not fixed the issue because I experienced the exact same issue again in my S Class. And I am not at all surprised to learn that Endfloat’s E Class had the same issue. But I am surprised that the collapsing rear Mercedes suspension is still not resolved.
Why is Mercedes continuing to manufacture parts that are obsolete in terms of engineering integrity? Mercedes constantly drives home the message of superior engineering, and they boast of putting prototype vehicles through 1 million miles of testing.
Yet, despite all this testing, why do these same issues occur time and time again? Anyway, Endfloat details multiple issues with the Mercedes C350e, so much is that he urged his father to trade it in for a Toyota RAV4.
