The New Mercedes SL Strikes A Modernist Pose
Auto News

This is the new generation Mercedes AMG SL. In today’s return on investment corporate culture, it should not exist. But exist it does. And truth be told, it doesn’t sell in big numbers. In the USA, sales of the Mercedes SL have been in decline for years. Mercedes sold 1,350 units in 2020. For 2021 it is scheduled to sell over 500 units of the previous generation. Most auto companies would have ended production of such a low-selling car. But it seems Mercedes is intent on the continuation of SL for personal pride and history. It’s now remarketed as the AMG SL . Perhaps in an effort to move into the performance luxury market in a bid to entice more YouTuber content creators into buying.
