In the video games world, Kazunori Yamauchi san is the godfather of driving sims for he is the creator of the Gran Turismo gaming series for the PlayStation console. The Playstation is now in its 5th generation. More powerful than ever before the PS5 is able to deliver near photo-realistic graphics. For every new console launch, it takes time for game developers to fully extract performance.

However, Kazunori Yamauchi san and his company, Polyphony Digital, always seem to deliver next-gen graphics and gaming straight out of the box. And, from what we have seen, Gran Turismo 7 is taking console driving to the next level.

The game launches in the first week of March 2022. A month ahead of the official retail launch Yamauchi san gave a 30-minute insight into the driving game/sim. A new dynamic weather system is introduced. Replays feature music sequencing that admittedly looked cheesy.
