Volvo Polestar, which shouldn’t be confused with Volvo or Polestar (both are entirely one of the same, albeit differentiated by carefully crafted marketing and branding) is lacking imagination these days. Imagination is never lacking in the average automotive concept artist, for they provide the gloss to the exterior and rather dreary corporate hegemony.

Zida Ren is a Senior Designer at Mercedes Benz China, in his spare time he perfects his car dreams into perfectly executed and real visual concepts. His interpretation of a Volvo Polestar off-roader is visualized as a two-door SUV coupe.
