Great Wall Motors, AKA GWM, has revealed the next model to follow in the footsteps of the Ora Funky Cat. The second model will find its way into UK showrooms by Q1 2024. But there is a catch, it currently has no name and no price point. All we know is that GWM’s car with no name is a fully electric premium saloon that shares styling cues with the Ora Funky Cat.
However, the as-yet-named model is already on sale in China and is marketed as the Ora Good Cat. The Good Cat is a Tesla-sized pure EV aimed at the premium end of the market. While UK specification is yet to be confirmed ORA has revealed pint-sized details.
GWM is targeting an electric range of over 300 miles and will offer both 2WD and 4WD powertrain options. The latter of which will produce around 400PS with 680NM of torque, resulting in a 0-62mph time of just over 4.4 seconds.
In China, the Good Cat is powered by an 83Kwh Battery. Premium features like a large glass panoramic roof, synthetic leather seats and interior multi-color ambient lights are set to come as standard. Our inside sources are telling us that UK prices will start from £38K.
