The MG Cyberster electric roadster made its official debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show in China, unveiling a pricing range of 319,900 to 359,800 yuan (44,300 to 49,800 USD) across three available trims. The MG Cyberster is set to be produced by SAIC in China, with the likelihood of manufacturing taking place at their Ningde plant, the same facility responsible for assembling the MG4 electric hatchback.

The Cyberster comes in three power derivatives: 231 kW, 250 kW, and 400 kW. The base model is equipped with a 66 kWh battery pack, while the other two models feature a 77 kWh battery pack. Peak torque is measured at 475 Nm and 725 Nm.

Featuring scissor doors, the MG Cyberster offers respective ranges of 501 km, 580 km, and 520 km across the three trim levels. The ternary NMC battery is produced through the collaboration of CATL-SAIC joint venture.

MG China reported that 1000 pre-orders were made for the MG Cyberster within 50 days of opening reservations. While the price for the European market has not yet been announced, the MG Cyberster is expected to be available in the UK market starting in the summer of 2024.
