In Europe (and to a much lesser extent, in the United Kingdom), we won’t have an opportunity to purchase the new Honda ZDX, as it’s tailored exclusively for the American market. Nevertheless, the Honda ZDX provides us with an insight into how the company envisions its future. Will it focus on Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) or New Energy Vehicles (NEV)? The ZDX is Honda’s pure focus on BEVs. It seems like a stylish good start.

Honda vis-a-vie Acura today announced pricing for its first all-electric model, the all-new 2024 Acura ZDX will retail from $64,500 for the entry-level 340bhp ZDX A-Spec with a single-motor (rear-wheel-drive) powertrain. The performance SUV will arrive at Acura dealerships this spring.

The high-performance 500bhp ZDX Type S, features a performance-tuned dual-motor AWD powertrain and has a starting MSRP of $73,500. The pricing doesn’t yet reflect the application of any government incentives or tax credits to purchasers and leases.

The 2024 Acura ZDX features cutting edge technology and connectivity including Acura’s first integration of Google* built-in, as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability – all standard. ZDX also is the first Acura model to feature the immersive audio experience of Bang & Olufsen luxury audio, which will expand across the entire Acura lineup with MDX.

Recharging on the go is quick and convenient with DC Fast Charging at rates up to 190 kW. With DC Fast Charging, the 102-kWh lithium-ion battery pack in ZDX A-Spec rear-wheel drive is designed to net an estimated 81 miles of range2 in approximately 10 minutes to get customers back on their journey.
