Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk announced plans to ship its highly anticipated Roadster electric sports car next year (2024), revealed Musk in a post on X. Musk further declared, “Tonight, we’ve significantly elevated the design benchmarks for the new Tesla Roadster.”
Musk added that the production design for the Roadster will be finalized and unveiled before the year’s end. Initially introduced at the close of 2017, the Roadster, a battery-powered four-seater, was initially slated for launch in 2020
In 2021, Musk postponed the Roadster’s launch to 2023, attributing the delay to global supply chain bottlenecks.
By 2023, Musk expressed Tesla’s aspiration to commence production of its long-awaited next-generation Roadster electric sports car in the following year.
