Never did we imagine uttering these words, but the car enthusiast and popular YouTuber MoVlogs is currently in Islamabad, Pakistan. Yes, indeed, MoVlogs is touring Pakistan. Pakistan has got such a bad rep over the years, for reasons unknown. But MoVlogs is determined to shatter misconceptions.

My assumption is that the Pakistani Tourism Bureau is compensating ‘influencers’ like MoVlogs to enhance its tourism industry.

In his recent video uploads, MoVlogs explores the most expensive house in Pakistan, which incurred a construction and finishing cost exceeding $1.25 Billion Rupees.

That’s over $100 million. It’s rather ostentatious in a country with a national GDP of $347 billion and an average national wage of $300 per month.

You expect to find a $100 Million dollar house in a rich Arab Gulf state, or in Beverley Hills, it just seems rather vulgar in a country that should aspire to build its national wealth for the many instead of the few.
