It’s been a long time since we last interacted with Suzuki. We didn’t even know that the Swift has entered its 4th generation. So here it is in all its glory, the new Suzuki Swift Hybrid. Much like the previous car, it has four doors a steering wheel and Android Auto. But this Suzuki Swift is different, it is powered by a Toyota-sourced hybrid powertrain.

Suzuki reckons it’ll do 64mpg, and while car manufacturers lie, lie, lie and lie about range and mpg figures, we’re actually going to give this one to Suzuki, 64mpg sounds pretty much accurate based on our experiences driving Toyota hybrids.

The Suzuki Swift hybrid range starts at £19K for entry-level models, I can’t be bothered to tell you more because dullness is a state of mind and the Swift Hybrid is a vehicle that I am mindful to avoid. Apparently the new generation Swift is better equipped, better built…. ZZZzzzzzz.
