TRE, a premier manufacturer of high-performance aftermarket carbon fibre parts, has unveiled the V3 iteration of its acclaimed TR87 bodykit for the BMW G87 M2. This latest version represents over 18 months of meticulous testing and development.

TRE’s automotive design team embarked on a mission to craft a comprehensive carbon fiber aero kit. Utilizing advanced computer-aided design (CAD) techniques and 3D data captured from the G87 M2, the V3 TR87 kit offers an unmatched fit and a cohesive design that seamlessly integrates with the car’s sleek lines.

Each component of the TR87 kit is carefully crafted from premium 2×2 twill pre-preg carbon fiber, the same material used in BMW M Performance parts. This dedication to quality extends beyond aesthetics, as the kit undergoes rigorous testing using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to ensure its effectiveness. The results are impressive:

108 kg of Downforce at 120 mph: The V3 TR87 kit delivers substantial downforce with a perfectly balanced 50:50 distribution between the front splitter and rear wing.

Adjustable Rear Wing: Enhance performance with the ability to adjust the rear wing angle, optimizing the drag coefficient on straightaways.

The design philosophy of the V3 TR87 kit pays homage to the coveted F87 M2 CS. Key elements include a new carbon fibre kidney grilles, front bumper centre trim, front bumper ducts, and a new rear diffuser.

As part of the TR87 package, each car will also be equipped with an M Performance Height Adjustable Suspension kit and Milltek Sport OPF Back exhaust System.
