There are daily drivers, and then there are daily drivers. The Porsche 911 Turbo S is perhaps the ultimate daily driver, unmatched in its balance of performance and practicality. Sure, electric supercars may be faster, but the 911 remains the definitive sports car.

Personally, I would choose an entry-level 911 over a $3 million, 1,500-horsepower hypercar. Why? Because the 911 is easier to live with—you can actually drive it every day, and from point to point, it’s more than fast enough.

But what truly sets the 911 apart is its handling. It’s razor-sharp yet remarkably user-friendly, making it a sports car that seamlessly blends excitement with everyday usability. No other car comes close, and those that do are full of compromises.

Having driven the 911, I agree with MKBHD: the 911 is the best car in the world.
