I know it’s easy to criticize video reviews. The reason we at the Daily Car Blog never established a YouTube channel is that we don’t have anything unique to offer. Well, the real reason is that we’re just cowards.

Anyway, What Car? is a well-established player in the car review and news industry, with a reputation beyond reproach for independence. However, after watching numerous What Car? video reviews, I’m beginning to change my opinion.

Why is it that whenever they review an electric car, they rarely mention the real-world range? And when they do, they simply regurgitate the official WLTP figures—numbers that are often far from reality. In doing so, they are, by proxy, repeating misleading information. Yet, their reviews go into detail about boot capacity in liters and the 0-60 mph time.

When it comes to electric cars I just want to know about the fucking range, I don’t want to know about the fucking bootspace, or the fucking useless infotainment system or the fucking materials, I want to know the fucking real world range for fucks sake.

How fucking difficult is to reveal the real world fucking range? you’re fucking testing the car for fucks sake, you’re a fucking car reviewer.
