MG Motor UK has launched two new models for the MG HS Hybrid+ SE and MG HS Hybrid+ Trophy, featuring the brand’s latest Hybrid+ technology. Priced at £28,995 for the SE and £31,495 for the Trophy, both variants come with MG’s 7-year/80,000-mile warranty.

The MG HS Hybrid+ is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with an electric motor and a 1.8kWh battery, producing a combined output of 165kW (225ps). This setup allows the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 62mph in just 7.9 seconds while maintaining a fuel economy of 51.3 MPG (WLTP) and low CO₂ emissions at 126g/km. The power is delivered through a 2-speed automatic transmission.

Inside, the HS Hybrid+ offers an upgraded cabin with two 12.3-inch high-definition displays – one for infotainment, featuring live navigation, Amazon Music, and smartphone connectivity, and another for driver information, offering various layouts and display modes.

The Trophy model includes additional features like a 360° surround-view camera and wireless smartphone charging. Premium materials, modern design elements like a shuttle-style gear shifter, advanced tech and connectivity.

Both models come well-equipped with a host of standard features, including LED headlights, keyless entry, electrically adjustable front seats, rain-sensing wipers, and cruise control. MG Pilot, the brand’s driver assistance suite, includes active safety systems such as emergency braking, lane keep assist, blind spot detection, and more.

With 507 litres of boot space, roof rails capable of holding 75kg, and a 1500kg towing capacity, the MG HS Hybrid+ is designed to meet the needs of families and business users alike, blending efficiency with utility.
