Chery UK marked a significant milestone by debuting its first model for the UK market—the Chery Tiggo 8 Super Hybrid—at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. This seven-seat, self-charging hybrid SUV was showcased during dynamic hill climb runs and static displays in the First Glance paddock.

Boasting a 745-mile range (including 56 EV-only miles), fast charging, and a high-tech, spacious interior, the Tiggo 8 represents Chery’s next step in UK expansion following the introduction of OMODA and JAECOO.

The Tiggo 8 is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo engine paired with a dual-motor hybrid system delivering 204 PS and 365 Nm of torque. It features a dual-screen cockpit, Sony sound system, voice control, panoramic sunroof, and comprehensive safety tech. The SUV was driven at Goodwood by an all-female team.

UK pricing will be revealed in the coming weeks, with customer deliveries expected by late summer. The model includes a 7-year/100,000-mile warranty.
