Isuzu UK has announced pricing and full details for the New Isuzu D-Max EV, following its debut at the 2025 Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham. This model marks a European first as a fully electric pick-up offering a 1-tonne payload, 3.5-tonne towing capacity, and full-time four-wheel drive.
The production-ready D-Max EV will launch with two premium trim levels, eDL40 and eV-Cross, which are based on the brand’s DL40 and V-Cross diesel variants. Both electric models feature a dual-motor system, a 66.9 kWh battery.
Isuzu has confirmed that these electric trims will adopt new names: D-Max eDL40 and D-Max eV-Cross. This naming mirrors the diesel-powered range to emphasise that the EV versions retain the core capabilities and features of the original models, now enhanced with electric power.
The D-Max EV will be available in a range of colours. The eDL40 comes standard in Splash White, with optional premium finishes including Mercury Silver Metallic, Obsidian Grey MICA, Onyx Black MICA, and Biarritz Blue Metallic. The eV-Cross shares these colour options and adds an exclusive Dolomite White Pearl finish.
The model’s design is further enhanced by EV-specific blue accents and distinctive D-Max EV badging. Pricing for the D-Max EV starts at £59,995 CVOTR (excluding VAT), with the eDL40 and eV-Cross trims available. The range tops out at £62,495 for the high-spec eV-Cross.
