It’s been a while since we last visited Hoovies Garage—his YouTube channel, that is. His modest garage has grown into a massive car barn. Hoovies Garage follows a simple formula: buy junky cars for next to nothing and spend thousands getting them repaired.
Thankfully, for his bank balance at least, there’s very little to spend on his 201 Porsche Panamera. The naturally aspirated V8-powered GT has over 10,000 miles on the clock and not many issues—except for the bonnet release catch and cable being broken, a common problem on this year’s model.
Hoovie discovers a coolant leak, a potentially serious issue that could lead to catastrophic engine failure. He takes it to his go-to mechanic, only to find out the leak is small and easily repairable.
And that’s it—no explosions, no major drama, just normal issues for a car with over 100,000 miles on the odometer.
