Volvo Cars has introduced the Black Edition variant for its new XC90 plug-in and mild hybrid SUV, available in four exterior colours: Onyx Black, Crystal White, Denim Blue, and Vapour Grey.

The Volvo Black Edition is defined by its high-gloss black grille, badges, and wheels, and offers all-black interiors with charcoal headlining, chequered aluminium trim, and two seat material options.

XC40The XC90 joins a growing line of Black Edition models, including the XC60, fully electric EX40 and EC40, and XC40 mild hybrid, with an EX30 version planned for the future.

The 2024 XC90 has been extensively updated, making it the most advanced iteration of Volvo’s flagship hybrid SUV.

Safety remains central: the XC90 features an advanced safety cage and a wide array of active safety technologies.

Its plug-in hybrid variant is a pragmatic step toward electrification, offering customers the ability to reduce emissions without abandoning the convenience of a combustion engine.
