Xpeng UK has unveiled the new G6, a heavily upgraded version of its electric SUV arriving in Q1 2026. The refreshed model brings major gains in performance, technology, design, and efficiency, including a new AWD Performance Black Edition for the UK market. This flagship variant uses dual motors producing 480 bhp and 660 Nm, delivering 0–62 mph in 4.13 seconds along with improved handling and stability.

A new 80.8 kWh LFP battery enables peak charging speeds of 451 kW, allowing the G6 to charge from 10% to 80% in as little as 12 minutes—making it the fastest-charging EV in its class.

XPENG has also introduced over 20,000 incremental refinements across the chassis, suspension, steering, powertrain, battery systems, and NVH to improve comfort and control on UK roads. A high-efficiency heat pump is now standard on all trims.

Design updates include a full-width Starlight LED light bar, body-coloured wheel arches, new aero elements, and fresh colours such as Stellar Purple.

Inside, the G6 gains a redesigned, more premium cabin with new materials, enhanced ambient lighting, upgraded wireless charging pads, massaging front seats, and expanded tech through the updated XOS system and a smarter “Hey XPENG” voice assistant. Practicality remains strong, with 571 litres of boot space and reclining rear seats.

Safety upgrades include a reinforced battery structure with ballistic-grade protection and expanded XPILOT driver assistance features.

Pricing starts at £39,990 for the RWD Standard Range, £44,990 for the Long Range, and £49,990 for the new AWD Performance Black Edition.
