Skoda Auto India has launched the updated Ishaq city car, introducing segment-first features such as an eight-speed torque-converter automatic transmission and a Rear Seat Massage function.

Built on the MQB-A0-IN platform, the Ishaq continues Skoda’s strategy of making European engineering accessible for Indian roads, building on strong sales of over 94,900 units and exports to multiple global markets.

The refreshed Ishaq features updated Modern Solid design elements, a Monte Carlo variant at launch, turbocharged 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI engine options, and enhanced comfort with a panoramic sunroof, ventilated electric seats, and a spacious interior.

It also debuts an AI-powered infotainment system tailored to Indian users and maintains high safety standards with five-star Global NCAP performance and more than 25 standard safety features.
