BYD has unveiled official images of its upcoming Seal 07 EV, which is built on the e-platform 3.0 Evo and offers an unverified 705 km [403 miles] electric range. The vehicle is set for an official launch in March 2026.

The Seal 07 EV shares its design with the 2026 Seal 07 DM-i, featuring a closed front face with narrow headlights, a trapezoidal lower grille, a continuous taillight cluster with chrome trim, hidden door handles, a sunroof, and a roofline that slopes downward from the B-pillar.

A roof-mounted lidar indicates advanced driving assistance functions, likely powered by BYD’s upgraded “God’s Eye” 5.0 system, an evolution of the DiPilot 300 used in the DM-i variant.

The EV measures 4,995 mm long, 1,910 mm wide, and 1,495 mm tall, with a 2,900 mm wheelbase—10 mm wider than the DM-i—and a curb weight of 1,940 kg.

It is powered by a rear-mounted electric motor producing 240 kW (322 hp), paired with a 69.07 kWh Blade battery weighing 490.6 kg. The Seal 07 EV achieves a CLTC range of 705 km, a top speed of 200 km/h, and a consumption of 10.8 kWh/100 km.

The Seal 07 EV positions itself as a long-range, tech-rich electric sedan with a design and driver assistance system reflecting BYD’s latest innovations.
